The spread of the corona disease and the fear of contracting this disease had caused people to experience a lot of anxiety and stress, since this disease works silently and a person would realize that he was infected with this virus at least 14 days after being infected and it is possible that every person is a carrier of this disease without knowing it, the obsession and fear among people is turning into a serious phobia of contracting Corona. On the other hand, major depressive disorder is one of the most common mental disorders that is associated with defects in cognitive functions, including working memory. In recent decades, a non-invasive and painless technique called magnetic brain stimulation (TMS) has been used in the treatment of treatment-resistant depression. The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effectiveness of the technique of repeated magnetic stimulation of the brain (rTMS) in the treatment of obsession after the outbreak of the corona epidemic. The results indicated that repeated magnetic stimulation of the brain is considered a non-invasive and safe method in the treatment of treatment-resistant depressions. Comprehensive assessment and effective treatment requires attention to cognitive functions of patients along with mood symptoms. This treatment method is completely non-invasive, and no significant side effects of this method have been reported for the treatment of depression. In addition to depression, it is also effective for the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorders, PTSD, and schizophrenia.
