The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of Story counseling on reducing sexual anxiety in girls affected by sexual abuse. The research was applied in terms of purpose and pre-test-post-test in terms of experimental method. The study population included all girls with sexual anxiety caused by childhood rape referred to Navid Mehr Clinic located in Valiasr town of Tehran and the sample size was 12 people (6 in the experimental group and 6 in the control group). The sample group was selected voluntarily and available. Sexual anxiety questionnaire was used to assess sexual anxiety. The results showed that Story counseling is effective in reducing sexual anxiety in girls affected by sexual abuse. Due to the effectiveness of Story counseling, it is recommended to use this treatment in clinics and specialized counseling centers.
