This Study Aimed to Examine Predictors of Tendency Toward Cosmetic Surgery Based On Histrionic Personality Disorder Features & Cognitive Emotion Regulation Among Women with Academic.The Research Method Was Descriptive Correlation and It Was Practical in Terms of Purpose. The Statistical Population of the Study Included All Educated Girls and Women (Bachelor, MA and PhD) Referred to Cosmetic Surgery Clinics in Karaj in 2021. The Sample in This Study Was 200 Cases Selected by Available Sampling Method Based On Grain Sample Size Determination Formula. The Research Instruments Were, Henderson-King’s Tendency for Cosmetic Surgery Questionnaire (2005), Histrionic Personality Disorder Questionnaire in Women, Which Made by Alavi & Colleague (2018) & Garnefski, & Kraaij’s Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (2002). Data Analysis Was Done in Two Parts of Descriptive & Inferential in SPSS 26 Software. Findings Showed That Histrionic Personality Disorder Features (43.4 Percent) And Cognitive Emotion Regulation (38.2 Percent) Are Able to Predict Tendency for Cosmetic Surgery Among Women (Β = 0.434, Β = 0.382 & 0.01 > P). Based On the Findings, It Is Suggested That Cosmetic Surgery Candidates Undergo Psychological Evaluation Before Any Operation. By Diagnosing Pre-Operative Psychological Factors, By Performing Psychotherapy, The Person Should Be Aware of the Distortion of Reality.
