Background & Aims:
Although the interior of studies done on the effectiveness of life skills training, but the body image and Depressive Champ of the few students there. Due to the importance of the topic, check the above two issues together. The purpose of this research is important to the
effectiveness of life skills training on body image and Depressive Champ Two high school students of Babol.
Materials & Methods:
This is a quasi-experimental research with pretest design. The statistical population of this study includes all female secondary school students in the city of Babol in the year 2015-2016, with 2878 people. Of the secondary schools of secondary schools, three schools and two schools in each school and six classes were randomly selected, a sample of 30 people who received high scores were selected as sample, and the pain group (15 experimental) And (15 control). The research sample was selected using a cluster random sampling method. To measure the variables studied, the multidimensional body questionnaire was used by cache and Valen Hoeksma and Maro rumination response scale. The life skills training course for the experimental group was performed in 8 sessions of 90 minutes, but no training was performed in the control group. After completing the educational program, two groups of post-tests were used.For statistical analysis of descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation) and inferential statistics analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) significant level (P< 0.05) was used.
Results:
Data were analyzed by covariance analysis. Analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) showed that life skills education, the body image and Depressive Champ improved positively and significantly in the experimental group, while in the control group no significant changes were observed in the post test.
Conclusion:
Life skills training has led to a reduction in the level of mental involvement of female students studying their body and body as well as the amount of rumination that reduces the mood and the increase in negative mood. Based on the findings of the research, it can be concluded that students can use life skills training intervention to improve their the body image and Depressive Champ.
