Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the standardization of the Emotional Regulation Questionnaire in students of Islamic Azad University of Roodehen. The method of the present study was an applied research in terms of purpose and a survey research in terms of method. The statistical population of this study included all students of Islamic Azad University of Roodehen in the academic year 2017-2017. Cluster sampling method was selected for sampling. The sample studied in this study was a total of 400 people. The measuring instrument of this study was Garnfsky (2006) cognitive emotion regulation questionnaire and dass-21 questionnaire. To analyze the data, Cronbach's alpha, Pearson correlation and heuristic factor analysis were used to analyze the research questions. The results showed that the emotional regulation questionnaire has appropriate validity and the components of this questionnaire are accepted as a factor. The mentioned questionnaire has good reliability. Convergent and diagnostic (differential) validity of the Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire was assessed by calculating the correlation coefficients of its subscales with depression, anxiety, stress and mental health indicators about participants. The results of Pearson correlation coefficients showed that there was a significant positive correlation between participants' scores under the scales of self-blame, ruminance, catastrophe and other blame with depression, anxiety, stress and psychological helplessness and a significant correlation with psychological well-being. Based on these results, a significant negative correlation was obtained between acceptance, positive refocus, planning, positive and minor reassessment subscales with depression, anxiety and stress.

Abstract

The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effectiveness of parenting management training on chronic fatigue syndrome and mother-child conflicts in hyperactive children aged 8 to 12 years in Sari city. The research method was semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of the research is all mothers with 8-12-year-old boys and girls suffering from attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder who referred to counseling and psychology centers in Sari city in 1401, which were identified through the review of counseling files of the last year. considered 30 of these mothers were selected by available sampling and based on the entry and exit conditions of the study. Then they were placed randomly in two experimental and control groups (15 people each). Both groups were measured twice. The first pre-intervention measurement was carried out by conducting a pre-test for both experimental and control groups, Smets Multidimensional Fatigue Measurement Questionnaire (1996), Pianta Maternal Quality Scale Questionnaire (1992) was distributed and measured among the sample. After parent management training from the published package of parent management training provided in Barclay's treatment guide, for 8 sessions of 90 minutes in the experimental group, the second measurement was performed by conducting a post-test between the two groups. In order to analyze the data, the multivariate analysis of covariance test was used. The results of the findings indicated that parenting management training is effective on chronic fatigue syndrome (P<0.05) and mother-child conflicts (P<0.05) in hyperactive children aged 8 to 12 years in Sari city.
