Materials & Methods: The research method was quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest design with two experimental and control groups. The target population in this study was married female students of Hamadan Azad University and relative stratified random sampling method was used to select the sample. Forty subjects were randomly assigned into two groups of experimental (n = 20) and control (n = 20). The experimental group received Sternberg theory training in eight sessions and each session for one and a half hours. The control group received no training, then both groups received post-test. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (frequency distribution, central indices and dispersion) and inferential statistics (analysis of covariance) in SPSS.
Results: The results showed that education of Sternberg's theory had a significant effect on marital satisfaction of married students. Therefore, it can be said that education of Sternberg theory increases marital satisfaction of married students
Conclusion: It can explained that teaching Sternberg theory leads to increased marital satisfaction of married students.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of life skills training on improving the quality of life and self-efficacy of female students of Islamic Azad University. The present study is an experimental study of pre-test-post-test with a control group. The statistical population of this study includes female students of the Islamic Azad University of Ghods in the second semester of the academic year 1399-1399, whose number is about 500 people. Available sampling method was used for the sample. In order to collect research data, self-efficacy questionnaire and SF 36 quality of life questionnaire were used and the data were analyzed based on analysis of covariance. The results showed that life skills training will improve the quality of life and in the component of physical health 14% and in mental health 18% of the variance changes were due to life skills training, so life skills training on students' quality of life It has a positive and significant effect. Also, after controlling for the differences between the control and experimental groups, life skills training has been able to significantly increase the mean of this variable.

Abstract

Background & Aims: The main purpose of this research is to determine the role of satisfaction and failure of basic needs in predicting self-determination and psychological distress of female high school students in district 13 of Tehran. Materials & Methods: Based on the purpose, this research is considered an applied research, and in terms of the data collection method, it is a descriptive survey research of the correlation analysis type. The statistical population of the research is made up of 230 female high school students in the 13th district of Tehran, studying in 1402, who were randomly selected. Ganye's (2003) basic needs satisfaction, Kessler et al.'s (2002) psychological distress, and the self-determined basic needs satisfaction test of Garia-Desi and Ryan (2000) were used. SPSS23 software was used to test research hypotheses, correlation test and regression analysis. Results: The results show that the satisfaction and failure of basic needs with a significant level (0.364) predicts the psychological distress of adolescents. Also, the satisfaction and failure of basic needs with a significant level (0.276) predicts the self-determination of adolescents. Therefore, ensuring that adolescents are properly supported and their basic needs are met can help strengthen their self-determination and healthy psychological development. Conclusion: Satisfying the needs of teenagers provides the necessary conditions for the growth and well-being of a person and explains the broad and wide base of behaviors. The scale of satisfaction and failure of basic psychological needs is a valid tool for use in Iranian society.

Background & Aims: This research was conducted with the aim of predicting academic self-efficacy based on problem solving skills and perception of school atmosphere in female students of the first secondary level. Materials & Methods: The research was descriptive-cross-sectional and correlational. All female students studying in the first secondary level of public schools in Isfahan city in 2022 formed the statistical population of this research, which were selected by multi-stage cluster random sampling method, numbering 150. Research tools included academic self-efficacy questionnaire, problem solving questionnaire and school atmosphere perception questionnaire. Pearson's correlation test and linear regression analysis were used to analyze the data. Results: The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between problem solving and academic self-efficacy, and 18% of the variance related to academic self-efficacy was explained by confidence in problem solving, self-confidence and personal control. Also, there is a positive and significant relationship between the variables of school climate perception and academic self-efficacy, and 17% of the variance related to academic self-efficacy is explained by student-student relationships, student-staff relationships, educational emphasis, and shared values and beliefs.
