This research is applied in terms of classification based on purpose and in terms of classification based on the method of a descriptive correlational research. The statistical population of this study includes fifth and sixth grade elementary students in Tehran's 4th district, which is about 1800 people. Sampling of this research is available. The minimum sample size required according to the Cochran's formula is 317 people. Data collection tools in this study were standard questionnaires whose validity was confirmed by face and content validity and their reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha coefficient and combined reliability. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS and Smart-PLS software and the research hypotheses were investigated using structural equation modeling. The results showed that parenting style has a significant relationship with students' emotional intelligence.
