The purpose of the present study is to investigate the relationship between self-expression and self-respect and resilience. The method of this research was descriptive correlation type. The statistical population of the study included all students of the Islamic Azad University, Tehran branch, south of Tehran, in the academic year of 2016-2017. A statistical sample of 270 students was selected using available sampling method. The tools used in this research were self-expression questionnaire (Shering, 1980), self-respect (Rosenberg, 2003) and resilience (Connor and Davidson, 2003). Findings using Pearson's correlation method and multivariate regression model showed that there is a positive relationship between means of existence and self-esteem. There is a positive relationship between self-expression and resilience. Also, the results showed that there is a positive relationship between resilience and self-esteem. Therefore, it can be concluded that self-esteem and resilience are the variables related to the tool of existence in students and they have the ability to predict it.
