Aim: Investigate the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) on social anxiety of students.
Method: The method of this research was a Quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest design with control group. The The statistical population of this study included all Master degree students of Hekmat Razavi University in 1398 .Wich 30 of them Were placed using available sampling method and were matching assigned to experimental group (15) and control group (15). Participants of the experimental group received 10-sessions of acceptance and commitment therapy. To collect the data social anxiety questionnaire were used.
Results: The results showed that social anxiety of Participants in the experimental group significantly decreased compared to the control group.
