The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of problem-solving education for mothers of hyperactive children and attention deficit improvement in quality of life. This study was an experimental type with pre-test, post-test and follow-up that students of 4 primary schools in Tehran's second district with attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder were randomly divided into three groups: problem solving group, family education group and one group. Control without treatment. Parents of all three groups completed the questionnaires: Connors Behavioral Problems (Parent Form), Hepner and Baker Problem Solving, 36-Question Quality of Life (SF-36), PSI Parental Stress, and the Enrich Marital Questionnaire. The method of covariance was analyzed. The results showed that problem-solving education improves parenting education, parental quality of life and mental health of mothers of children with ADHD, improves parent-child relationships, and reduces parental stress in parents of children with ADHD. Buddhist parenting intervention can comprehensively include other treatments.
