The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between perceived stress and sexual satisfaction and marital adjustment in couples undergoing infertility treatment in Tehran in 2021. The research method was applied based on the purpose and descriptive-correlation in terms of data collection. The statistical population included all couples undergoing infertility treatment who in the first 4 months of 1400 had referred to Amin Infertility Center located in Tehran, of which 170 people were considered as the sample size using the available sampling method. Data collection method was based on three standard questionnaires of perceived stress Cohen et al. (1983), Larson sexual satisfaction (1998) and Spanier (1976) marital adjustment. The reliability of this questionnaire was obtained using Cronbach's alpha method for all dimensions of the questionnaire more than 0.7, which showed the appropriate reliability of the research tool. To calculate the validity, the validity of content and structure was used, and the results indicated the validity of the research tool. Data analysis was performed from the questionnaires through SPSS24 software in two descriptive and inferential sections (Pearson correlation coefficient test and linear regression test). The results of data analysis showed that perceived stress with marital adjustment and its components (marital adjustment, mutual solidarity, mutual agreement, expression of love) and sexual satisfaction and its components (sexual satisfaction, sexual attitude, quality of sexual life and sexual adjustment) It has a negative and significant relationship. This means that with the reduction of perceived stress, marital adjustment and its components, as well as sexual satisfaction and its components increase.
