This research aimed to investigate the relationship between job stress and job burnout with the mental health of police officers in Ramhormoz city in Khuzestan province in 1400. The research method was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlation in terms of data collection. The statistical population of the research included all the police force personnel of Ramhormoz city in Khuzestan province, of which 200 people were considered as the sample size using Cochran's formula and multi-stage cluster sampling method. The method of data collection was based on three standard questionnaires of job stress (Harris, 1995), job burnout (Maslash, 1981) and mental health (Goldberg, 1972). The reliability of the questionnaire was calculated using Cronbach's alpha method, and its value was above 0.7 for all three questionnaires. Likewise, content validity was used to test the validity of the questionnaire, and for this purpose, the questionnaires were approved by the relevant experts. The analysis of the information obtained from the implementation of the questionnaires was done through SPSS software in two descriptive and inferential sections (Pearson correlation test and multiple regression). The results of the research showed that there is a significant negative relationship between job stress and its components with mental health, and there was also a significant negative relationship between job burnout and its components with mental health. Therefore, it is necessary to implement measures and programs to increase the mental health of the organization. This issue is very important in the police force organization, which is facing a lot of stress and burnout due to the inherent nature of its professional role and responsibilities.
