The present research was conducted with the aim of testing the causal model of students' academic vitality based on mindfulness and the mediating role of academic self-efficacy. In terms of descriptive methodology, this study was of structural equation type correlation. The statistical population of the research was all the male and female students of the second year of secondary school in Rasht city in the academic year of 1402-1403, out of which 330 people were selected as available. Data collection tools are Dehghani Zadeh and Hossein Chari's academic vitality questionnaire (2013); Baer et al.'s mindfulness (2006) and Jinks and Morgan's (1999) academic self-efficacy scale. Mean and standard deviation were used to describe the findings, and Pearson correlation tests and structural equation models were used to infer information using SPSS-27 and AMOS-24 software. The results of this research showed that this research model has a good fit and mindfulness has an indirect effect on students' academic vitality through the mediation of academic self-efficacy in addition to its direct effect. These results can be used to design interventions aimed at improving the quality of students' academic life.
