The purpose of this article was to compare emotional balance and interpersonal sensitivity among normal students and students with disabilities in Garmsar city. The method of this research is causal-comparative. The sample of this research consisted of 90 students (45 students with disabilities and 45 normal students using matching method) who were selected by simple random sampling. Boyce and Popker's interpersonal sensitivity questionnaires and Bradburn's emotional balance questionnaires were used to collect data. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive indices and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA). The results of this study showed that there is a significant difference between students with disabilities and normal students in interpersonal sensitivity and emotional balance. The findings of this study indicate the problems of students with disabilities in the field of interpersonal-communication skills and deficiencies in growth. It is emotional. Since academic performance and interpersonal and emotional skills of students may mutually affect each other, therefore, knowing the social and emotional characteristics of students with disabilities is one of the basic steps in the process of diagnosing and rehabilitating these students.
