This study aimed to predict academic burnout in second-year high school students in Saqqez based on perceived stress, difficulty in emotion regulation, and test anxiety. The present study was applied in terms of its purpose, descriptive-correlational in terms of its nature, and quantitative in terms of data type. The statistical population of the study was all second-year high school students in Saqqez in the academic year 1402-1403, totaling 4350 people, of whom 353 people were selected as the sample size using a mixed cluster random sampling method and based on the Cochran formula. In order to collect data, the standard questionnaires of academic burnout by Maslas, perceived stress by Cohen et al., difficulty in emotion regulation by Gratz and Romer, and test anxiety by Abolghasemi et al. were used. In this study, content and construct validity were used to calculate validity, and Cronbach's alpha coefficient and composite reliability coefficient were used to calculate reliability, which indicated the validity and reliability of the research questionnaires. Data analysis was performed in two parts: descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, skewness and kurtosis, and percentage, frequency, table and graph) and inferential statistics (Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression) using Spss-V24 software. The findings showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between academic burnout and perceived stress, difficulty in emotion regulation, and exam anxiety in second-year high school students in Saqqez.
