The aim of this study was to evaluate the standardization of the Emotional Regulation Questionnaire in students of Islamic Azad University of Roodehen. The method of the present study was an applied research in terms of purpose and a survey research in terms of method. The statistical population of this study included all students of Islamic Azad University of Roodehen in the academic year 2017-2017. Cluster sampling method was selected for sampling. The sample studied in this study was a total of 400 people. The measuring instrument of this study was Garnfsky (2006) cognitive emotion regulation questionnaire and dass-21 questionnaire. To analyze the data, Cronbach's alpha, Pearson correlation and heuristic factor analysis were used to analyze the research questions. The results showed that the emotional regulation questionnaire has appropriate validity and the components of this questionnaire are accepted as a factor. The mentioned questionnaire has good reliability. Convergent and diagnostic (differential) validity of the Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire was assessed by calculating the correlation coefficients of its subscales with depression, anxiety, stress and mental health indicators about participants. The results of Pearson correlation coefficients showed that there was a significant positive correlation between participants' scores under the scales of self-blame, ruminance, catastrophe and other blame with depression, anxiety, stress and psychological helplessness and a significant correlation with psychological well-being. Based on these results, a significant negative correlation was obtained between acceptance, positive refocus, planning, positive and minor reassessment subscales with depression, anxiety and stress.
