This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the effectiveness of communication skills training on the self-efficacy and job stress of elementary teachers. The research method is semi-experimental with two experimental and control groups, and the statistical population of the research included all the teachers of schools in district 2 of Tehran in the year1400-1401 According to the research method, 2 schools in region 2 were determined using the cluster sampling method, and then 2 schools were selected using the same method, then for the initial screening, using the voluntary sampling method, among the teachers who met the conditions for entering the research. are selected and a questionnaire of self-efficacy and job stress was implemented among them and people who got a high score in job stress and a low score in self-efficacy were selected and then 30 people were selected by random sampling and then they were divided into 2 groups of 15 people. Data collection was done by Riggs and Knight's job self-efficacy questionnaires (1994) and Steinmetz's job stress questionnaires (2003) and the intervention was done by communication skills training protocol. Also, the statistical method of multivariate covariance analysis (MANCOVA) was used to analyze the data, the results indicated that there was a significant difference between the total score and the subscales of the two self-efficacy and job stress questionnaires in the pre-test and post-test in the two experimental groups. And there was control in primary teachers.
